THM Museum Registrar Job Description 2026
The Tontitown Historical Museum is currently accepting applications for the position of Museum Registrar.
This is a part-time, year-round position offering an opportunity to help preserve and share the rich history and heritage of Tontitown while supporting museum operations, collections management, guest engagement, and educational outreach.
Position Details
- Part-time, non-exempt position
- Approximately 26 hours per week
- Some evening and Saturday availability required
- Starting pay based on qualifications and City pay grade scale
Position Overview
The Museum Registrar will assist with:
- Managing museum collections and records
- Preserving historical artifacts and archives
- Supporting exhibits and special projects
- Assisting with educational programming and community outreach
- Providing excellent guest service to museum visitors
- Assisting with social media and museum events
Candidates with experience or education in museum studies, history, hospitality, library sciences, collections management, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
