TRICK OR TREAT IN THE PARK
HALLOWEEN NIGHT. THUR ~ OCT. 31ST, 2019. HARRY SBANOTTO PARK. 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Tontitown is gearing up for it’s 5th TRICK OR TREAT IN THE PARK. The City is very proud of this event. Each year it has grown and the kiddos love it.
The City cannot THANK the past businesses and citizens enough for donations and their time. Without your support this event could never be the success that it has become.
There will be 12 stops. At this time I have several benches available to sponsor. In order to sponsor a bench you must supply $50.00 or more of candy, decorate the bench and around that area if you desire, sign with name of sponsor on it, set up by 5pm on the 31st. This year there is no theme. You may go any direction you like in Halloween decorations. Most areas have a plug on a light post near. So check out your area before that day if you are needing electric for your decorations. Please keep all decorations kind to the wee ones. Scary is fine but blood, guts, and gore is a no.
The City is in great need of donations of the following ~ you DO NOT have to live in Tontitown to donate nor to attend the event.
PUMPKINS ~ any size
PRIZES FOR KIDS/FAMILY ~ discounts/coupons or items from your business, children books, art, craft, games.
1ST, 2ND, 3RD PLACE PRIZES FOR BEST STOPS ~ anything, cash, what ever you think will be a good prize.
CANDY~ CANDY ~ CANDY ~ CANDY~
This event uses only donations and volunteers to pull this event off. We appreciate each and everyone of you ~
If you would like to sponsor a bench or have questions please contact Rhonda Doudna at 479-445-3685.
Please bring all candy and donations to the Tontitown City Hall located on Highway 412. Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You may also contact Renee at City Hall if you have any questions. PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS NAME ON EACH CANDY BAG IN BLACK MARKER so the city can recognize you on our FB page.
If you would like your donation to be picked up please Contact Rhonda Doudna 479-445-3685.
Again, we cannot Thank everyone enough for your help with this event. Last year the City clicked over 850 people who attended and took in over $4,000.00 in candy donations and that is not counting the wonderful raffle items, and prizes for stops.
Looking forward to a fun filled event this year ~
