This week the Tontitown Farmers Market received a letter from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and the Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas, awarding our Farmers Market a grant! This grant first became available in January 2021, and all applications were due by March 1st, 2021. We applied, and we were selected to receive funding!
This is a HUGE step in the right direction for our little market! The grant is intended to assist in advertising and marketing for our growing market. Through the grant we are able to purchase new signage with our new logo on it, along with updated times and locations for the market. In addition, this grant enables us to share our market with anyone traveling Hwy 412 and Hwy 112. The new signs are eye-catching, and will draw in more members of the community and travelers alike.
We are super stoked to be able to let our community know we are here, we are growing, and we can be their one stop shop on Saturday mornings!
Want to become a Farmers Market vendor? Please complete the application form found on the Tontitown Farmers Market page, and follow the instructions to submit to the City of Tontitown. We are one of the few markets in NWA that does not charge a fee to become a vendor!
