Harry Sbanotto Park
With its ancient oak trees providing shade, Tontitown's Harry Sbanotto Park is a cool place to hang out. Situated on a 13-acre plot beautifully landscaped with grass and trees, the park features two covered pavilions with tables, bar-b-que grills, and picnic benches perfect for family get-togethers and social occasions. Rest and recreate using the park's baseball diamond, covered bocce ball court, basketball court, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets, and tennis courts. Enjoy the recent addition of a large new playground with many features for ages 2 - 12, or just drop by and take a stroll on the Father Joe Walking Trail that winds 1/3 mile through the Park's green and pleasant terrain. The trail is lined with tree-shaded park benches.
The Harry Sbanotto Park is open everyday from sun up to sundown, and all facilities are open to the public and free for all to use. We do recommend that you make a reservation for use of the covered pavilions. This ensures one will be available for your event or party on the day and time you've scheduled.
Reserved Pavilions are $10/hour for a minimum of 2 hours with a maximum fee of $60/day. All fees are used for the care and upkeep of the Park. To make a reservation, call the City's Administrative Assistant at (479) 361-2700 or email at adminasst@tontitown.com. Call early - the pavilion's are reserved well in advance for most weekends during the warm months (April - October). Tents are not allowed in the Park. Please also be aware that alcoholic beverages and unauthorized parking on the grass are not permitted in Harry Sbanotto Park.
